WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking a caring and responsible leader with a great work ethic and a passion for hospitality. Some level of bartending experience is preferred, but the most important quality we are looking for is someone who is great at managing a team and helps foster a great workplace culture and environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate who’d enjoy the pace of earlier nights and many Friday & Saturday nights off to spend with family and friends as well as an opportunity for the right hospitality-minded candidate to take the next step in their career.
THE POSITION
Lehrhaus operates a unique service model in which all front of house staff share responsibilities and work each aspect of service from serving and bartending to food-running. Our hospitality-driven tavern service encourages interaction and story telling while also creating a streamlined experience for both our guests and staff.
The manager position will help lead the day-to-day operations of the dining room and bar. Responsibilities include overseeing nightly service, opening and closing managerial duties, bar ordering and inventory management, training staff, ensuring proper product standards are met, maintaining staff resources and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar areas. They will have heavy interaction in the dining room, working with General Manager Stephen Bowman to ensure that hospitality standards are upheld, developing team knowledge and developing relationships with guests.
