Pregnancy Choices
, established in 2006, is a life-affirming non-profit organization dedicated to supporting under-served women, men, and their families in the south metro area of the Twin Cities. We provide crucial services including pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, STD/STI testing, and accurate information about pregnancy, abortion, and alternatives. Our safe, non-judgmental environment positively impacts lives through relationship-building, professional life coaching, and incentive educational programs.
Position
Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide coaching to clients that will ensure life-affirming support and transfer of life skills that result in self-advocacy, confidence, and self-efficiency. An additional intent is to connect clients with appropriate resources and provide learning opportunities that will deepen the client’s knowledge base in such areas as parenting, finances, and other related topics.
Mission: We partner with women and men experiencing an unexpected pregnancy or relational poverty, and through life coaching uncover new possibilities and sustainable change for families.
Key Responsibilities:
CLIENT CARE (60%)
Provide intentional one-on-one coaching to male clients, supporting positive life changes
Offer pregnancy options, advocacy, and STD/STI testing to male clients
Facilitate the Good Father Program (GFP) with compassion and dedication, following training
Participate in the Good Father Group (GFG) to build a supportive community
ADMIN, TRACKING AND REPORTING (15%)
Collect evidence-based results demonstrating the impact of certified coaching services
Conduct data entry and provide client file maintenance
Stay updated with tracking tools and reporting systems for efficient data collection
Attend weekly staff meetings or watch the replay
CONTINUED EDUCATION (15%)
Maintain a working knowledge of the coaching process and competencies to ensure they are upheld
Collaborate with Team Lead Life Coach, setting and working towards meaningful goals, with quarterly reviews
Pursue additional coaching courses annually for personal and professional growth, funded by Pregnancy Choices
COMMUNITY OUTREACH (10%)
Serve as a liaison with community service providers, fostering supportive networks, in tandem the Community Resource Manager and coaching team
Facilitate healthy relationship education via Real Essentials curriculum

Commitment to advocating Pregnancy Choices’ beliefs and value
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize and manage caseloads, demonstrating attention to detail
Passion for continuous education and men’s issues
Ability to connect with diverse people on a personal level, internally and externally, fostering trust and confidence
Strong team collaborative skills
Training
Learning Journeys Life Coach Practitioner Certification, provided by Pregnancy Choices (160+ training hours over 12-18 months)
Elevate Life 2-day training or virtual training through Elevate Life platform
Orientation to Pregnancy Choices and on-the-job training
Compensation: $20/hr
