Position: Make-A-Wish Engagement Summer Internship
Become a Wish Family Engagement Intern at Make-A-Wish Canada and help make a difference in the lives of children with critical illnesses. This full-time hybrid internship enhances your understanding of the nonprofit sector while you engage with wish families.
This is an excellent opportunity for students focusing on program development and nonprofit communication. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that enriches the lives of families by creating meaningful engagement and connection. This internship offers a blend of hands-on projects and collaborative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with engagement activities and requests
• Identify wish families for ambassadorship opportunities
• Support newsletter and communication content creation
• Review and analyze post-wish surveys
• Maintain detailed records of wish family interactions
Requirements:
• Education in a related field or in progress
• Student or recent graduate preferred
• Experience in nonprofit roles is an advantage
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Must be 18-30 years and a Canadian citizen or refugee
