Performs maintenance service and repairs of buildings, equipment and grounds in order to provide a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff and visitors. The responsibilities include those of general maintenance (i.e., carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance and safety testing). Provides excellent customer service when working with patients, visitors and other staff members. Works under minimal supervision.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (occasional on call), Day Shift
Location: Holy Cross Mountain Point
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
High School diploma or GED required
Completion of a trade school program preferred
Technical degree in a facilities related field preferred
Two to four years general maintenance experience required.
Hospital facilities or healthcare construction experience preferred.
Strong communication skills: ability to read, write and speak English.
Basic computer skills.
Valid state driver’s license, required
License or certification in major specialty, i.e. HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical, preferred
