Licensed Mental Health Professional
Position Type:Full-Time
Salary Range:Master’s degree:$50K – $60Kannually depending on experience and placement
Travel Required:Dependent on placement.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Intake assessments and reassessments for youth and adult clients receiving mental health services within the organization.
JOB DUTIES:
Conduct face-to-face interviews in person and/or via telehealth with the client and their family/significant others during assessment/reassessments.
Working collaboratively with the client and family, utilize screeners to identify functioning and needs, develop a treatment plan, obtain consents for treatment, and develop a crisis plan.
Provide timely and complete documentation to submit for authorization.
Address referral in a timely manner.
Attend all required trainings and supervisory meetings as deemed appropriate by the Program Director.
Ensure all documentation entered into the electronic health record (EHR) is accurate, meet quality standards, and are submitted in a timely manner.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Board Certified Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in good standing with their respective board and with the ability to practice independently.
One (1) year of experience in the delivery of direct mental health services, preferably in a community-based setting.
Current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain upon hire.
