Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Newborn Nanny & family assistant to provide exceptional care for our newborn baby in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of newborns/infants helping with night nursing (we co sleep and breastfeed) breast milk pump and bottle feeding (after 6-8 weeks) diapers, laundry, cooking healthy meals, help around the house, etc and after the baby is a few months old- engaging in fun and educational activities. This role requires a commitment to creating a positive atmosphere that promotes growth and learning.
Duties
Supervise and engage with newborn baby boy in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
Assist with housework as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized environment.
Implement routines for daily activities such as nap time, bath time, and outdoor play.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding the baby’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Provide first aid as needed and ensure the safety of the baby at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or newborn care, nursing/lactation consulting, sleep etc is preferred.
Familiarity with infant care
Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
A nurturing demeanor with the ability to connect with children on their level.
Reading to the baby daily in english and or spanish or italian
Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules effectively.
Willingness to do what is needed beyond listed duties / team player
Unvaccinated preferable
Positive attitude, healthy lifestyle, open to go with the flow
Open to travel with the family as needed
Live in with us in Miami Beach preferred (all your living & travel costs covered).
