Summary
We are seeking a Lifeguard to join our team at the Armed Services YMCA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. Your contributions will directly support our mission of enhancing the quality of life for military families.
Responsibilities
Monitor pool activities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Perform regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing as required.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
Requirements
Current Lifeguard certification required.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues when necessary.
Experience in guest services or hospitality is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for maintenance tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
