Duties:
– Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with a variety of needs, including gender issues counseling, autism, special needs, and more.
– Utilize various therapeutic modalities and techniques such as art therapy, dance therapy, and clinical research to support clients in their therapeutic journey.
– Collect and analyze data to assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
– Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
– Provide counseling services to clients of all ages, from children to adults.
– Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
– Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of counseling.
Requirements:
– Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor.
– Experience working with diverse populations and addressing gender issues is preferred.
– Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and experience providing therapy for individuals on the spectrum is highly desirable.
– Familiarity with coding systems used in insurance billing for counseling services is a plus.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
