Our non-profit human services agency is looking for a full time Licensed Clinical Supervisor.
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical documentation for specified treatment models in accordance with rehabilitative timelines. Provide support and supervision of required duties for Clinical Care Case Manager’s. Responsible for electronic billing review and submission in accordance with required timelines.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Ensure all clinical documentation for residential and community-based services is completed according to specified rehabilitative options timeframes.
- Interface with regional auditing team through referral agencies to conduct required audits.
- Provide interface with providers such as psychiatrist and therapist. Provide training and supervision for Clinical Care Manager’s and residential counselors to maintain quality clinical services for youth and families.
- Conduct CANS and bio-psychosocial assessments training to ensure these assessments are completed according to timeframes.
- Review and approve all treatment planning documents to ensure specified timelines and rehabilitative language is utilized as required.
- Provide supervision and support for Clinical Care Case Manager’s for all youth according to scheduled risk management reviews and complete all risk review documentation. Provide interface and consultation for residential managers and residential counselors to support high risk youth according to youth’s individual treatment needs.
- Provide program specific training according to annual training calendar or individual need.
- Facilitate contacts and linkages in the community to strengthen symptom management/clinical goals outlined throughout individualized treatment planning.
- Develop clinically based, rehabilitation option billable treatment plans, service notes and bio-psychosocial evaluations.
- Complete and/or provide training to assure that Service Notes are completed within required timeframes and written in rehabilitative language for rehab options audit review.
- Possess the ability to provide training on coping skills, negative behavior replacement and harm reduction techniques to youth and families with various cognitive levels and symptomology using an individualized approach. Be able to accurately document training and progress in written format within required training requirement timeframes.
- Adhere to residential and community-based policy and procedures in regard to development and maintenance of clinical documentation. Must be able to assist and train master’s level clinicians to complete clinical paperwork for a specific number of charts per residential site. This includes Mental Status Exams, Bio-psychosocial, Discharge Summaries, Safety Plans, Youth Readiness Assessment, CANS, Clinical Formulation, Treatment Plans, Quarterly Reviews, Service Notes, Risk Assessments, including updates according to required timeframes.
- Knowledgeable of Young Adult and Family Services policies and procedures, Department of Early Education and Care and the Department of Children and Families in the areas of Human Rights and confidentiality.
- Ability to make therapeutic/psychopharmacological referrals to community-based providers within seven days of intake or according to required timeframes to ensure continuity of care for specified service model.
- Must complete twenty-four hours (per 40 hours) of training per calendar year. Must attend, successfully complete and maintain Medication Administration Program, First Aid/CPR and OSHA.
- Ability to provide verbal communication effectively to allied professionals and families in relation to youth’s treatment and progress.
- Proper, professional dress and demeanor always required. Must follow Boundaries Agreement.
- Possess the ability to lead or co-facilitate groups and trainings for youth’s families and Colleagues in support of program objectives and individualized treatment goals.
- Provide the necessary transportation for residents, when necessary, to access community resources using personal vehicle, and have a valid driver’s license. Must have the ability to use company van if required.
- Act as Supervisor ON-Call on a rotating basis providing 24-hour crisis intervention and support for Colleagues providing residential and community-based services.
- Possess knowledge of the Department of Mental Health, Department of Children and Families, Department of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Early Education and Care Licensing Standards and Rehabilitation Options Guidelines.
- Must have the ability to provide effective service delivery and communication to people of varied cultural backgrounds.
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, contingent upon program needs, which may include evenings, weekends, early AM shifts and Holidays.
- Must be able to provide individual, family and group therapy if clinically appropriate.
- Must be able to conduct a CANS assessment.
- Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Admissions or Vice President of Clinical Services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Able to effectively set limits with residents both on a routine basis and in high stress situations. Must be able to effectively utilize verbal de-escalation techniques. Ability to engage residents in treatment and goal planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Provide training, coaching and modeling for essential clinical job functions and documentation for the Clinical Care Case managers.
- Completion of clinical documentation within specific time demands.
- Must be able to maintain an environment that promotes learning, growth, and pride.
- Flexible attitude with the ability to manage change and offer solutions and problem-solving strategies.
EDUCATION:
Maintain independent clinical licensure and provide copies of licensure to the training department upon each recertification, Master’s level degree
