Role: Ensure AI-RISE operates within legal and regulatory frameworks for nonprofits.
Responsibilities:
Advise on nonprofit registration, governance, and compliance (local/international laws).
Draft/review contracts (MOUs, volunteer agreements, partnerships).
Ensure adherence to data privacy laws (GDPR, etc.).
Address intellectual property (IP) concerns for research/open-source outputs.
Mitigate legal risks in collaborations, grants, and events.
Skills Required:
Legal background (corporate, IP, or nonprofit law preferred).
Interest in AI/tech policy is a plus.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
