Position: Leadership Internship with Children’s Ministry
Step into leadership as an Elementary Kids Team Leader at The Peoples Church this summer. Empower children through engaging programs while cultivating your skills in ministry.
This full-time internship will take place from July 13 to August 30, 2026, encompassing 40 hours per week. Your primary focus will be to guide programming for Grades 1-5 and lead a team of volunteers. Additionally, your role involves adapting lessons to ensure all children, including those with special needs, can participate and thrive in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead Sunday programming for Grades 1-5
• Supervise and motivate volunteer teachers
• Customize and prepare Bible lessons and curriculum
• Facilitate small and large group discussions
• Support children with special needs in programming
Requirements:
• Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ
• Age requirement: at least 18 and high school graduate
• Excellent leadership and administrative abilities
• Experience in child programming or mentorship
• Must be available for all overnight events
