Lead Nursery Teacher – Full-Time

Our growing nonprofit child care center in Reston is looking for an experienced, caring, and enthusiastic Lead Nursery Teacher to join our team. We are a fun, family-oriented center that values our teachers and the important role they play in the lives of our children and families.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, dependable, and loving, with a genuine passion for working with young children. Candidates must have:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a child care center, including experience in a nursery classroom
- Experience serving as a Lead Teacher
- A degree in a related field or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- The ability to create a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Scheduled hours may vary between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
