Attention Rev. Ken Russell, Who We Are Founded in 1937, Westwinds Community Church is a cornerstone of faith and community in the fast growing town centre of Cloverdale. Our mission is to inspire transformational lives through faith, guided by the call in Luke 10:37 to ‘go and do likewise.’ We actively support our Cloverdale community in numerous acts of service participating in local charities and run the school lunch program for an inner city school, extending our commitment to service and outreach.

Our goal is to inspire a personal and passionate devotion to Jesus, creating a safe haven for our community to explore faith, receive teaching, and find encouragement. Our next lead pastor will be a visionary leader who can empower people by deploying them in their areas of strength while holding them accountable to the vision and goals of Westwinds Community Church.
This Lead Pastor will champion and protect our spiritual and doctrinal values while proactively encouraging our church to embrace multiculturalism and
diverse
communities. A key focus will be growing our church by engaging and attracting younger generations.
Required Skills
● Meet the scriptural prerequisites found in, Titus 1: 7-9, 1 Peter 5:2, Matthew 28:19-20.
● Hold current credentials and be ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC),or the Assemblies of God (AOG) or be an applicant approved by the executive officers of the BC/Yukon PAOC District.
● A

● Effective communicator
● Criminal record check & employment references to be furnished upon request.
Education Required
● A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to pastoral ministry.
Experience Required
● Outreach and community-minded.
