About the role:
As a Lead, US Partnerships & Alliances, you will collaborate with our US Sales Leader and co-develop an emerging strategic partnerships practice with channel partners and service providers in the health & wellbeing industry. These partners would include brokers/consultants, health plan clinical and wellness leadership, digital health channel partners, insurance companies, HCMs, TPAs, etc.
We are hiring for two lead roles, ideally one aimed principally at brokers/consultants while the other primarily works through health plans/resellers/TPAs, etc. The goal for these roles is simple: help us democratize access to the Roundglass Living wellbeing solution through partners. Roundglass Living will grow across diverse US verticals – workplaces, education (college and schools), sports, non-profits – and these lead roles will enable us to grow ‘one-to-many’ via these verticals.
This is an ideal role for someone who has benefits consultant sales experience and is an expert at building deep relationships with various channel partners. Working with these partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. Your broad responsibilities will include owning the engagement around range of Roundglass Living’s products and developing deep expertise in the technologies as well as broad know-how around the applications & services at Roundglass.
This position blends eyes-up strategic work with hands-on execution, and it includes prospecting and outreach, managing a pipeline of partners, presenting product capabilities, tailoring the value proposition to partners' workflows, and most importantly closing deals. You will collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and partners to educate and evangelize Roundglass Living and our products vision/roadmap.
What you’ll do:
- Create, manage, and grow the Partnerships & Alliances ecosystem for Roundglass Living within the US ultimately developing strategies that result in long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate and execute channel partnership agreements, e.g. benefit consultants such as WTW, Aon, Mercer, Lockton, Gallagher, USI, etc.), health plan clinical and wellness leadership, digital health channel resellers, other emerging partners.
- Manage key partnership areas including strategy development, stakeholder engagement plans, joint offerings, tactical execution, pipeline generation, and alignment of go-to-market functions.
- Drive partner enablement programs & trainings to help them become ready to work with Roundglass Living independently. Develop mutual offerings, offer messaging, engagement model with partners to acquire customers & be responsible for the growth targets from partnerships and alliances.
- Work cross-functionally with Roundglass Living Sales, Services (account management), Product, and Content teams to strategize, explore, and execute partnerships.
- Introduce the Roundglass Living solution to channel partners and ensure that our partners receive the highest level of sales and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with resellers to develop tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with Roundglass Living’s services and target audience
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective partners, positioning Roundglass Living services as a valuable addition to their portfolio.
- Build and maintain activity and performance reports & dashboards for direct and upline leadership.
- As needed help manage the team that can assist and enable completion of the function’s objectives and can attain quarterly and annual targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: partnerships, business development or sales, and alliances within the health-tech, wellbeing and/or B2B healthcare market.
- A background in SaaS, health & welfare benefits, healthcare capital equipment, healthcare IT, health and welfare benefits outsourcing, human resources, or IT benefits software is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to reach or exceed partnership & alliance growth goals. Should be able to drive lead generation through Alliances, account-based marketing, and joint field marketing programs.
- Solid understanding of partnership business models for all types of partnerships like sell-through and sell-with models.
- Effective at building relationships (both internally and with partners), collaborating and influencing others; experience working with senior executives/partners in cross-functional projects. Proven ability to identify new business opportunities, to innovate synergies across products and external partnerships, and to align internal teams on negotiating complex contracts, working through conflicts, and facilitating joint legal conversations.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of complex enterprise deals and partner influencers and relationship management. Ability to work & collaborate with regional sales, business development, and technical teams to drive complex enterprise deals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Pay & Benefits:
The anticipated base salary for this position starts with $150,000 plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States
