Located in Jamison, PA, Ross Mill Farm is the “Home of the Pet Pig” offering boarding, grooming and veterinary services to approximately 170 pet pigs. It is also the primary foster home for Pig Placement Network, a non-profit organization that services the rehoming of over 1,000 pet pigs across the United States.
We are seeking a part-time, year-round Landscaper to maintain the 4 acre farm.
Duties:
– Provide regular lawn care activities, including mowing, trimming, edging
– Operate lawn care equipment, including tractor, riding mower and trimming equipment
– Provide regular maintenance to driveway areas and walkways
– Perform basic maintenance repairs of pens, sheds and fencing around the farm
– Interact with and provide assistance to pet owners and veterinarians when needed
Requirements:
– Comfortable with pet pigs and animals
– Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
– Ability to work independently
– Ability to work year-round
Farm hours are 8:30-4:30, but the schedule can be flexible to work around other commitments. If you are passionate about animal welfare and have the required skills, we encourage you to apply. Cover letters are recommended.
