JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Data management associated with histology lab material- Perform data management associated with quality control of information, reports, charges, slides, blocks and specimens pertinent to the histology laboratory.
Transport and Delivery of patient care material- Assists laboratory personnel with quality control of patient material and records.
Transports and delivers patient material, information and reports to appropriate professional staff, laboratories and departments.
Receptionist duties
Perform laboratory receptionist duties via telephone and liaison with professional staff, visitors and histology personnel in a professional manner.
Maintain office inventory.
Other duties as assigned
High school graduation or equivalent. One year of experience in a clinical medical laboratory or similar setting. With preferred degree, no experience required.
