Position: KLHIISA Immigrant Support Program Manager
Location: Kawartha Lakes
Lead initiatives to foster community engagement and support for newcomers s Program Manager role focuses on implementing and evaluating programs across Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton.
As the Program Manager for Community Development, you will oversee various initiatives that empower immigrants and diverse communities. Your responsibilities include program management, community outreach, and strategic partnerships, all aimed at enhancing newcomer integration and participation. This position is central to the mission of fostering belonging and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate community development programs
• Coordinate community consultations and workshops
• Facilitate partnerships with stakeholders and institutions
• Monitor and report on program effectiveness
• Support staff and volunteer leadership initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum Masters Degree or equivalent required
• Experience in community or International Development
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Strong project and budget management experience
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence
