The Kids Ministry Internship offers a
unique opportunity
for mentorship under an experienced Kids Pastor while jointly investing in the lives of children in the South Okanagan. As a member of the SBC staff team, you’ll engage in staff meetings and gain insight into various church ministries. Collaboratively, you’ll strategize, organize, and execute
dynamic
summer experiences for children and families, with oversight and weekly guidance from the Kids Pastor.
Your primary focus will be on crafting and leading programming for children in grades K-5, dedicating significant time to preparation and execution. Throughout the summer, you’ll also take the lead in supervising three high school interns for the Summer Day Camp. This internship is not only a platform for discipleship but also an opportunity to develop
leadership
, teaching, and
teamwork
skills while discerning your God-given aspirations and abilities.
