Job Overview
Are you passionate about animal welfare? Our shelter is hiring dedicated Dog Care Associates to provide top-tier daily care for our rescue pups. You’ll be responsible for keeping our residents safe, active, and well-cared for, directly supporting our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets in need.
Duties
- Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for dogs
- Maintain clean and safe kennel environments
- Assist with medical treatments and grooming
- Support adoption activities
Requirements
- Open availability/flexible schedule
- Passion for animal welfare
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, extensive walking, bending, and carrying
- Willingness to learn and follow protocols
- Previous experience in animal care is a plus
