Full Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking patient, passionate tutors who are committed to helping students on the autism spectrum thrive academically. As a tutor with Autism Envisioned, you will implement individualized lesson plans based on IEP goals, provide structured and engaging support, and maintain consistent communication with families to track progress and adjust strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions that align with students’ IEP goals and academic needs
Collaborate with parents and Autism Envisioned staff to create and adjust bi-weekly lesson plans
Support students in core subjects (reading, writing, math), tailored to individual learning styles and sensory needs
Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
Foster a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree (Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field preferred)
Experience working with children with autism or other learning differences
Familiarity with differentiated instruction and curriculum planning
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Reliable, organized, and passionate about making a difference
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
