Position: IUSM AmeriCorps
IUSM Ameri Corps
Indiana University School of Medicine is the only medical school in the country that hosts its own Ameri Corps program. The IUSM Ameri Corps program places first-year medical students at nonprofits around the state to provide capacity building services. IUSM Ameri Corps members will also support service learning initiatives at IUSM and develop volunteer projects for the IUSM community. This program is only open to first-year medical students ividuals who are not current students will not have their applications reviewed.

: IUSM Ameri Corps will provide capacity building for Indiana nonprofits as well as develop service opportunities connecting medical students to their communities around the state. Specific position descriptions for members may vary based on the need of the nonprofit.
