JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a respected, long-standing local nonprofit in its search for an Interim COO/EVP to join the team on a 3–6 month contract. This newly created leadership role will play a vital part in navigating a period of organizational change. We’re seeking a versatile and strategic change agent with a proven track record in interim leadership and driving transformation.
The COO/EVP will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of [specific areas such as operations, finance, facilities, marketing and development and IT.]. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive organizational growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CEO and board of directors to define and articulate the company’s vision and strategic direction.
Develop and execute long-term strategic goals and objectives to achieve profitable growth and market expansion.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring that the agency achieves its financial and operational objectives.
Lead and mentor senior management, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage budgeting and resource allocation processes, ensuring organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities; pursue partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions to drive business growth.
Enhance the organization’s public image and presence through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements.
Requirements
Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
Proven experience as an Executive Vice President, senior operations executive, or in other managerial positions within affordable housing sector.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Salary Range
$40-50/hour
