Organization description
The Energy CENTS Coalition (ECC) has worked to ensure affordable and continuous utility service for low-income Minnesotans for over 30 years. The Coalition promotes affordable energy service through public policy and regulatoryadvocacy, low-income energy program design, and direct bill payment and conservation assistance programs.
Primary Duties
The Intake Specialist will provide a wide range of administrative and program support primarily for the low-income utility affordability programs cific duties include:
Answering general phone inquiries and directing inquiries to appropriate staff
Providing accurate program information and appropriate referrals
Providing data entry support to ECC programs and projects
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Providing administrative and secretarial support to office staff
Maintaining files and researching records for various information as requested
Duplicating and distributing ECC organizational and project information
Other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned
Experience and Qualification Requirements
Ability to enter program data accurately and efficiently
Excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office suite (Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Reliability and commitment to working an established weekly schedule
Excellent oral and writtencommunication skillsand desire to work with people
Strong commitment to improving the lives of low-income people, experience in a nonprofit environment preferred
Knowledge of low-income energy assistance programs and familiarity with low-income financial assistance programs preferred
Additional Information
Full-time 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate $22-$24 per hour depending on qualifications
