Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing lab setup, equipment, and supplies for nursing simulation scenarios.
- Operating and maintaining simulation equipment such as human patient simulators.
- Assisting in developing simulation scenarios and providing feedback for improvements.
- Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of lab environments.
- Training faculty on equipment use and maintaining inventory and maintenance logs.
- Proctoring tests and guiding student and peer tutor activities.
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in operating simulation technology and troubleshooting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and foster a professional environment.
- Minimum of an associate degree, vocational certificate, or related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare equipment and experience with inventory management is preferred.
Physical demands include: prolonged standing or sitting and lifting up to 35 pounds.
