About the Role

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is a premier provider of away-from-home convenience services, committed to delivering innovative breaktime solutions that enhance customer experiences. We’re looking for an Install Tech to deliver, install, and set up Five Star equipment: vending machines, micro market fixtures, coolers, and kiosks at customer locations. You’ll safely operate a 27-foot box truck along with pallet jacks and dollies to transport and position equipment, and make sure every installation meets company specifications and is left in proper working condition. You’ll perform light maintenance and troubleshooting during installs, complete and document work orders accurately in our system, and follow all DOT, PPE, and company safety standards for lifting, securing loads, and handling equipment. Working closely with our Service Technicians and Maintenance teams, you’ll keep installation work moving efficiently while maintaining clean, organized tools, vehicles, and work areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, and set up Five Star assets including vending machines, micro market equipment, coolers, and kiosks, ensuring every installation meets company specifications and is in proper working condition.

  • Repair and prepare equipment prior to scheduled installs.

  • Safely operate a 27-foot box truck, pallet jacks, and dollies to transport and position equipment.

  • Follow all DOT safety standards, PPE and company vehicle requirements, and safety procedures for lifting, securing loads, and equipment handling.

  • Perform light maintenance and troubleshooting during installation to meet quality standards.

  • Complete work orders accurately and promptly, documenting installations and issues in the company system.

  • Coordinate with Service Technicians and Maintenance teams to keep workflow efficient, maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean and organized condition, and deliver excellent customer service that upholds the company’s professional image.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.

  • Must be at least 21 for DOT requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school or technical training.

  • Maintenance experience.

  • Experience with refrigeration systems, electrical systems.
