What You’ll Do
✔ Partner with leadership to ensure a positive and inclusive workplace
✔ Oversee recruitment, training, retention, and compliance initiatives
✔ Ensure employee engagement and development programs are in place
✔ Advocate for staff and help foster a culture of collaboration and transparency
✔ Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR policies to support our incredible team
What You Bring
✅ 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
✅ Strong understanding of employee relations, compliance, benefits, and payroll
✅ A passion for people, animals, and building a great workplace
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to balance strategy with hands-on work in a fast-paced environment
