Human Resources Coordinator Apply

Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Hybrid work model
Salary: $24.73-$30.22/hour

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will complete the department’s work and projects in a timely manner. You will interact professionally and cooperatively with other Association departments and staff members and with organizations and individuals outside the Association. You will also coordinate recruitment, employee engagement, performance evaluations, employment law updates, and projects for the department.

Job Description

Recruiting and Orientation

Coordinates recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Assembles orientation packets for employees, temporary employees, and consultants.
Conducts new hire and benefit orientations which includes ensuring first day documentation is submitted and accurate, policy and procedure review signing, ID badge setup, employee handbook review, and staff introductions.
Conducts position highlight meetings with hiring managers when new positions open.
Sends 30, 60, 90 Day and 6-month evaluation reminders to managers for their new hires or promotions. Ensures these are tracked and submitted in a timely manner.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
Completes references checks and employment verification for new hires.

Database Ambassador

Maintains accurate Threads portal. Updates when job descriptions change, tracks performance evaluations, monitors staff feedback, and implements any changes needed.
Maintains accurate Benefits Connect portal. Adds, updates, and removes employees from the benefits registration portal.
Maintains accurate staff lists and HR share drive. Updates staff list with job title changes, new employees, and terminated ones.
Sends ecards to staff for birthdays and anniversaries and employee recognition policy.

Training and Development

Coordinates external training requests. Schedules, reserves, tracks, and notifies employees of trainings.
Annual sexual harassment prevention training with current and new staff. Tracks acknowledgment forms.
Hosts employee engagement events. Develops, announces, and tracks attendance and budget.
PR&T and Discover NABP, maintains timeline worksheet, attendance spreadsheet, drafts memos, calendar invitations, surveys, PPP, presents, and agenda organization with presenters.

Reporting and Documentation

Creates new, modifies, and removes policies and procedures to best suit the business needs and changes while monitoring state and federal law and regulation changes.
Records and takes notes of the staff monthly meetings. Compiles notes in an email to send out to staff.
Sends out emails notifying staff on engagement events, tracks RSVPs, and oversees budget.
Tracks all invoices from AMEX payments and delivers to the Office Service Manager.
Updates and maintains accurate information on the organizational chart.
Composes and maintains recruitment quarterly, tracking, and engagement reports.
Assists with filing.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. PHR preferred.
3 or more years of human resources, recruiting, project management experience.
Good attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
Recruiting experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Public speaking skills.
1-2 years of employee event planning experience preferred.
Intermediate level skills in using Microsoft Office.
