Role Description
The Human Resources Compliance Manager will oversee and ensure compliance with all labor, employment, and safety regulations while supporting HR policies and best practices. Key responsibilities include developing compliance strategies, conducting audits, managing employee records, facilitating training on policies, and ensuring adherence to workplace laws and standards. This is a part-time, on-site role located in San Francisco, CA.
Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of labor laws, workplace regulations, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in HR policies, employee record management, and policy implementation
- Experience conducting workplace audits, risk assessments, and compliance training
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to handle sensitive information
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- Experience in community-oriented or non-profit organizations is a plus
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, CA
