Are you passionate about helping individuals who have experienced trafficking or exploitation find safe and stable housing? Do you have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of survivors? If so, we are looking for a dedicated Housing Navigator to join our team at Call To Freedom in Sioux Falls, SD.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess the housing needs of survivors of trafficking or exploitation
  • Develop and implement individualized housing plans
  • Coordinate with community partners to identify and secure safe and stable housing options
  • Provide ongoing support and advocacy to survivors as they transition into housing
  • Collaborate with case managers and other team members to ensure integrated service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of housing services provided
  • Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with survivors of trafficking, exploitation, or other trauma
  • Knowledge of housing resources and programs in the Sioux Falls area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with survivors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain motor vehicle insurance
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including possible overnight trips
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
