The Housing/Intake Specialist connects eligible veterans and their families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with housing and financial resources, both within and beyond Catholic Charities Hawai‘i. This role maintains accurate client records in systems like HMIS/Clarity, Smartsheet, and SharePoint, and supports housing placement and stabilization through field and office-based work. The Housing/Intake Specialist must demonstrate active commitment to Catholic Charities mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Must have an Associate’s degree in Human Services or related field plus four (4) years experience working in human services field. May also consider High School diploma plus experience working in human services field. Must be eligible for unaccompanied access to Department of Defense installations, such as Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Schofield Barracks, Tripler Army Medical Center, and other facilities in the State of Hawai’i. Experience working with Veterans or knowledge of services is a plus.
EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Hawaii State Criminal Check, Driver’s License, Access to Vehicle with Current Valid Registration, Safety Check, and No-Fault Insurance, Education Verification
COMPENSATION: $45,300.81 – $52,757.13
