Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for aNonprofit Housing Coordinatorfor a nonprofit that advocates for affordable housing solutions. This is afull-time, temp-to-hire opportunitylocated in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for accuracy andattention to detail. They will be adept at using software such as Salesforce and MS Office, possess excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Asense of communityservice, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, andflexibilityto perform both office and fieldwork are highly desirable for this role.

Full-time work hours, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm CT!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus!

Strongattention to detailand a high degree of accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and self-motivated.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional written and verbalcommunicationabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.

A commitment to community service and supporting others.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Adherence to organizational policies and procedures, with consistent and punctual attendance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in both indoor office settings and outdoor environments, including exposure to various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, and cold).

Capability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods on a daily basis.

Ability to perform job-related tasks requiring sitting, standing, bending, squatting, and reaching for extended periods.

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This career opportunity provides a starting hourly pay of $21/hr DOE, plus medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
