Job Duties
- Maintain safe, clean, and attractive YMCA facilities through means including vacuuming, sanitizing, sweeping, trash removal, glass cleaning, etc.
- Replenish supplies throughout the facility, including locker rooms and bathroom supplies
- Assist with setup of facilities for various events
- Keep facility managers up-to-date on status of facility and tools
- Respond to custodial emergencies as directed by supervisor or other department directors
- Weekday afternoon/evening and weekend morning availability required
- Hands-on experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred
- Capable and clear in both verbal and written communication
- Preventative maintenance and handyperson experience a plus
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and evaluate priorities is crucial
