MyPlace is a nonprofit in Jackson, Michigan that is opening a new home to provide rental living space to young men ages 16 to 21, who are aging out of Foster Care or can be placed in Independent Living due to any other vulnerable circumstance.
We are seeking Part-Time and Full-Time House Liaisons that will work directly with our residents in a supportive capacity. The successful candidates will be able to work patiently and inclusively with youth that have trauma backgrounds. This person will balance our residents’ self-efficacy with their safety and security, as well as assist the Resident Director with general house management and various duties. Opportunities to learn nonprofit management, grant-writing, research and more.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
