Patient Care: Provide companionship to patients at home or in skilled nursing facilities through social, emotional, presence, and spiritual support. Engage in activities such as conversation, listening, reading, singing, playing games, or other supportive interactions.

Kaiser Permanente Hospice Volunteer program seeks caring individuals to volunteer in our communities:
Downey, Baldwin Park, South Bay, and surrounding cities. Our hospice volunteer program is based on the principle of helping terminally ill patients cherish the spirit of living and make the most of their remaining time with loved ones.
If you are considering contributing your time and experience to something meaningful, consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to at least one year of service.
Office:
Harbor City: Carson, Compton, Gardena, Harbor City, Hermosa Beach, Lawndale, Manhattan Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rancho Dominguez, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Signal Hill, Torrance, and Wilmington.
Baldwin Park: Azusa, Baldwin Park, City of Industry, Covina, Diamond Bar, El Monte, La Puente, La Verne, Montebello, Monterey Park, Rosemead, Rowland Heights, San Dimas, San Gabriel, Walnut, and West Covina.
Downey: Artesia, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Cerritos, Commerce, Compton, Downey, Huntington Park, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Lynwood, Maywood, Norwalk, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, South Gate, Vernon, and Whittier.
