Position: Homelessness Programs Coordinator in Huron County
Contribute to vital community services as a Temporary Full-time Homelessness Programs Coordinator for the County of Huron. Lead the administration of housing access systems and homelessness programs effectively.
This position requires collaboration with the Homelessness Programs Supervisor and community providers to enhance resource accessibility in Huron County. You will implement, maintain, and analyze crucial data to support regional homelessness initiatives, engaging in a broad spectrum of responsibilities from program coordination to community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and evaluating housing programs
• Coordinate meetings to identify barriers to services
• Monitor the performance of homelessness initiatives
• Develop and maintain user access for programs
• Prepare reporting for funding and Ministry requirements
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Human Services or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in housing or homelessness sectors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License required
