Job Summary
Under immediate supervision of the HomeCare Warehouse Supervisor, completes established procedures for all activities related to medical supply and equipment handling, receiving, storage, delivery, tracking, delivery ticket confirmation and billing.
Duties Include
Ordering and receiving medical supplies and equipment
Inventory management including rotation of stock
Assembling individual patient supplies and pharmaceuticals from delivery tickets generated by pharmacy
Prepares supplies for delivery or shipping including safe handling and storage of pharmaceuticals
Completing customer service pick-ups and delivering to individual homes, routing deliveries, and managing delivery ticket confirmation once delivered to patient homes
Coordinates deliveries and pickups; including routing, home & hospital delivery by HomeCare, planning courier service as necessary, and distance shipping.
Maintains HomeCare vans and transports supplies according to motor vehicle codes, company policies, and regulations
Safe and controlled handling of protected health information is provided in each phase of job responsibilities which includes documentation of customer calls, requests or other customer based activities in the electronic medical record
Minimum Qualifications
H.S. Diploma, GED or Equivalent
2 years of experience in home care or pharmacy inventory or supply chain management
Current CA Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of Experience
Skilled with Microsoft Windows, electronic pharmacy, inventory management, routing software
Knowledge of San Diego County and use of Thomas Guide map
Bilingual English/Spanish
The current salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.27
