La Clínica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Role Responsibilities:

Answering community questions regarding HIV statistics and information – Provide basic information about HIV and the importance of getting tested.

Providing resources for those seeking assistance via program databases – provide HIV related services resources available in the community.

Going to events to promote HIV prevention and testing – attend outreach events and help promote HIV prevention and testing.

Providing free HIV testing kits at events and instructions of proper use – Refer people interested in testing to our testing counselors.

Helping efforts with SF annual AIDS Walk (SF AIDS Foundation) – Help with coordination of the SF AIDS Walk.

Promoting La Clinica TRUCHA at community events across Bay Area – promote La Clinica TRUCHA’s HIV services at community events across the Bay Area.

Note: This is a non-paid volunteer position.
