Key Points

This role is responsible for leading the Group`s NGO operations by overseeing donor relations, partnerships, organizational development, and community initiatives to ensure sustainable impact and long-term growth.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Define and execute the NGO’s long-term strategy, aligned with national development priorities and the group’s objectives as guided by the Governing Body.
  • Align NGO programs with the group’s ESG, sustainability, and social impact goals.
  • Drive innovation, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making in program delivery and organizational management.
  • Ensure that the departmental policies and guidelines are developed, reviewed, updated and maintained to align the strategies.
  • Design, implement, and scale high-impact development programs. Ensure programs are evidence based, community-driven, inclusive, and sustainable.
  • Identify focus areas such as education, health, livelihoods, climate resilience, women empowerment, or skills development etc. to get best outcome in-line with the Donor’s expectations.
  • Undertake regular field visits to project locations to monitor program implementation and impact.
  • Establish Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) frameworks to track impact.
  • Ensure good relationship with the Government bodies and regulators.
  • Ensure service to the Development partners, Donors, and INGOs, Local communities and civil society. Escalate critical issues to the Governing Body for decision.
  • Represent the NGO in high-level workshops and conferences.
  • Ensure full compliance with NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB), relevant ministries, and donor regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safeguarding policies, health & safety standards, and internal code of conduct requirements.
  • Ensure NGO’s budgeting, financial planning, cost controls and coordinate audits and financial disclosures.
  • Ensure proper utilization of group CSR funds, grants, and external donations.
  • Prepare impact reports for board, regulators, donors, and group leadership.
  • Oversee communication, branding, advocacy, and public engagement initiatives to strengthen the NGO’s reputation and visibility.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Skills Required: Finance, Compliance, Management, Communication, Leadership
