Its work spans a digital community platform, a world-class diagnostic and therapeutic clinic for adults with ASD, and a residential center for adults who cannot live independently, all designed with ecological, sensory-attuned principles. The foundation places particular emphasis on supporting caregivers, including those facing CPTSD and burnout, recognizing their crucial role in sustaining long-term care.
Role Description The Head of Fundraising will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support Fundacja I AM’s programs and long-term vision. This full-time remote role involves identifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with major donors, foundations, and philanthropic partners, as well as developing campaigns and initiatives that engage individual supporters. The role includes designing and managing fundraising pipelines, preparing compelling proposals and impact reports, and coordinating donor communication across digital and traditional channels. The Head of Fundraising will collaborate closely with the leadership team to align funding priorities with program needs, oversee fundraising targets and budgets, and ensure ethical, transparent practices. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring fundraising performance, optimizing tools and processes, and representing the foundation at online and in-person meetings and events as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising and philanthropy, including designing and executing successful fundraising strategies.
- Proven ability to cultivate, manage, and steward relationships with major donors and charitable organizations.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives about impact and vision.
- Experience working with or for charities, foundations, or nonprofit organizations, preferably in an international or mission-driven context.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets, managing budgets, and using data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with strong self-organization and time management skills.
- Understanding of or interest in neurodiversity, mental health, or social care, and commitment to inclusive, person-centered values.
- Fluency in English; Polish language skills or experience in the Polish philanthropic or nonprofit sector are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field.
