B Generous is creating the modern financial infrastructure nonprofits need to access capital, scale their mission, and deliver greater impact.
Through our lending marketplace, nonprofits can apply for financing and be matched with mission-aligned capital providers, including banks, credit unions, CDFIs, family offices, and institutional lenders. Our platform helps nonprofits access capital faster while giving lenders access to a highly curated and underserved market.
We have also launched the Impact Credit Fund (ICF), a private credit fund dedicated exclusively to nonprofit lending. Our goal is simple: prove that mission-driven lending can also be strong-performing credit.
B Generous is a post–Series A company with strong momentum and growing institutional support, positioning the company to scale its lending marketplace and capital platform over the coming years. We are now building the leadership team that will help define the future of nonprofit finance.
The Role
This is a senior, player-coach leadership role responsible for two core pillars:
1. Capital Markets & Lending Partnerships (≈60%)
Own and expand the capital base that powers the platform:
- Build and manage relationships with banks, credit funds, CDFIs, and institutional lenders
- Source and onboard new lending partners aligned with borrower demand
- Help structure and expand lending capacity, including warehouse and programmatic facilities
- Negotiate partner terms, credit parameters, and program structures
- Contribute to overall capital strategy across the marketplace and Impact Credit Fund
2. Lending Operations & Origination Execution (≈40%)
Own the engine that converts demand into funded loans:
- Oversee the end-to-end origination pipeline from application through closing
- Manage and develop a small team across underwriting coordination and loan execution
- Drive key performance metrics:
- loan volume
- conversion rates
- time to close
- Improve origination workflows, qualification processes, and pipeline management
- Partner closely with Credit & Risk to ensure consistency and quality of underwriting outcomes

- Performance of the origination funnel
- Expansion of lender and referral partner networks
- Development of scalable systems to support volume growth
- Alignment between capital supply and borrower demand
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in lending, capital markets, or structured finance
- Strong commercial credit judgment and ability to engage with underwriting teams
- Track record of sourcing or managing institutional lending relationships
- Experience improving and scaling origination or lending operations
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, build-oriented environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent the company credibly with lenders, partners, and nonprofit borrowers
Preferred
- Experience at fintech or lending platform
- Experience building broker, referral, or channel partner programs
- Existing relationships with banks, credit unions, CDFIs, family offices, or institutional capital providers
- Exposure to nonprofit lending, impact finance, or mission-driven capital markets
- Familiarity with nonprofit financial statements or nonprofit credit underwriting
Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive base salary (target range: $150K–$180K, depending on experience)
