Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a smooth operation within the store. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, contributing to a positive shopping experience. We are looking for Saturday help for the remainder of the summer, and open to continuing through the year for the right person.
Job Type: Part Time: Saturdays (Seasonal)
Ability to work with procurements, volunteers and staff.
Enthusiasm, teamwork focused, and strong customer service orientation
Well organized and detail oriented
Effective team building skills
Self- motivated able to work independently
Possess tact, diplomacy and flexibility
Proactive and able to work with a certain level of stress in a changing environment
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Uniform to be worn on daily basis, consists of ReStore shirt or apron.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Pay increase can be negotiated
Physical requirement to do this job:
Indoor, outdoor activity with some weather conditions ranging from heat to colder temperatures. Must be able to stand and walk for several hours. Ability to lift 50+ pounds on regular basis.
Work Environment and Conditions:
Much of work is performed while assisting customers between register area and yard area.
Must work on phone for periods at a time in office setting
During summer months, drop offs and pick-ups increase requiring more oversight in parking area and yard.
Flexibility and ability to perform as a team member for all major events.
Weather, changes in schedule, project changes (ei. Construction volunteers are placed in ReStore vs. jobsite due to weather, etc.) and skill levels of volunteers often create unexpected situations that need immediate attention. Thus, ability to multi-task and work under some stress is to be expected.
