Green Canyon High School Service Member Jobs in Logan, UT at AmeriCorps
This full-time, one-year AmeriCorps VISTA service position is hosted by the Public & School Partnership (PSP) and serves youth and families at Green Canyon High School (North Logan, UT). VISTA Members are placed to help improve and implement programs that support student academic success and attendance, college and career readiness, parent engagement, student experience, and intervention strategies. Internship credit may also be negotiated for university students.
AmeriCorps VISTA is a National Service program. All AmeriCorps VISTA positions are full-time hours for one calendar year, as mandated by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Successful completion of a one-year service term qualifies all VISTA members for either an education award or cash stipend.
Responsibilities vary, but most school-based PSP VISTA members collaborate with school counseling offices and administrative teams.
