A Day in the Life:

The Graphic Design Specialist will join our high-performing Marketing and Communications Department in a rapidly growing organization. The main functions of this role are developing creative print and digital assets and handling email creation. You’ll also oversee signage production across three campuses and two thrift stores and will manage edits to our award-winning website.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar related field required.
Must be 21 years old.
Valid Driver’s License.
3 years of professional design and production experience required.
Strong working knowledge of overall marketing and branding principles.
Strong design skills and knowledge of best practices related to graphic design and print/sign production required.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Help troubleshoot conflicting priorities.
Experience building relationships within and outside of your team, including printing vendors.
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
Ability to self-direct and work independently.
Oversee digital and print production from initial concept development to preparation of final art files for a variety of internal and external tactical deliverables and platforms.
Ability to build visually engaging emails in Luminate software and review for accuracy.
Ensure assets reflect our well-known brand including, but not limited to: signage, newsletters, event invitations, flyers, web and email images, icons, infographics.
Manage updates of e-signatures for organization.
Regularly monitor website for accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
Conduct monthly “brand walks” across three campuses and thrift stores to ensure quality and consistency of signage/collateral.
Manage organization listings on multiple sites (Yelp, Google, etc.). Regularly monitor and make changes to ensure accuracy.
Assist with TV monitor software, create forms and other light tech-related duties when assigned.

Other:

Regular attendance and punctuality required. Must be able to pass a background check and possess an acceptable driving record to be registered as an AHS approved driver.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air-conditioned and heated office environment.
