Role Overview:
We are seeking a mission-driven Grant Writer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will craft compelling grant proposals and funding reports to foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners. You will work closely with our leadership team to articulate the vision of Futurevia and secure funding that sustains and scales our impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify new grant opportunities that align with Futurevia’s mission and programs.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and grant reports.
• Maintain a grants calendar, tracking deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather information, data, and narratives for proposals.
• Assist in developing budgets and financial documentation for funding requests.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in nonprofit grant writing with a strong record of successful proposals.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills; ability to tell compelling stories with clarity and purpose.
• Knowledge of philanthropic and grantmaking landscapes, especially related to international aid, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Passion for Futurevia’s mission and a deep sense of social responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
