Job Summary

The Grants & Fundraising Director plays a key role in supporting fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and event coordination. This position serves as the central point for managing donor records, coordinating sponsorships, and executing fundraising events that support organizational growth and community impact.

Essential Functions

· Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors through consistent outreach, relationship-building, and donor engagement activities.

· Develop and execute annual giving campaigns, donor appeals, and other fundraising initiatives designed to expand the donor base and achieve annual revenue goals.

· Research grant opportunities and support the preparation, submission, tracking, and reporting of grant proposals and funding requests.

· Coordinate and execute fundraising events, including event planning, vendor coordination, setup, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.

· Manage sponsor relationships and commitments, including outreach, tracking, communication, recognition, and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits and deliverables.

· Prepare and distribute donor acknowledgments, tax receipts, fundraising reports, and related correspondence while maintaining accurate donor and contribution records.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements Qualifications:

· 2-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or event coordination

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of grant writing experience.

· 1–3 years of experience with donor databases such as Little Green Light, Donor Perfect, Salesforces

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience working in a small team or nonprofit environment

Work Schedule

· Full-time position: 40 hours per week

· Primary schedule: Monday–Friday

· Flexibility required to support occasional evening/weekend needs and select holiday programming

Compensation And Benefits

· Hourly pay: $60,00-$65,000, based on experience

· Paid time off: 10 paid holidays, 3 weeks of vacation, and 9 sick days annually

· Health benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision

· Retirement: IRA plan with employer match up to 3% of gross earnings (match percentage reviewed annually), with employee contribution required to receive the match
