What You’ll Do:
As a Grants Billing Specialist, you’ll be the financial backbone behind the incredible work of our programs. You’ll ensure grant and contract dollars are accurately billed, responsibly spent, and fully compliant with funder expectations. In this vital role, you’ll work closely with Finance, Program Leadership, and the Grant Writer to:
Manage grant and contract billing across multiple program areas
Ensure spending aligns with funder requirements and internal controls
Generate financial reports, fund reconciliations, and audit documentation
Support budget tracking and grant close-outs
Help us stay compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
Contribute to a culture of transparency, accuracy, and mission-alignment

What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
2+ years of accounting experience (grant/contract management experience strongly preferred)
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with databases/accounting software
Knowledge of grant compliance, reporting, and budgeting
Keen attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Clear, confident communication skills
A collaborative, can-do spirit with a drive for continuous improvement
