The Berkeley Castle Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization tasked with restoration and maintenance of the Berkeley Springs Castle listed on the national historic registry, is seeking a Grant Writing Intern to help secure funding. This position is ideal for someone passionate about history, nonprofit development, and grant writing. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Research and identify grant opportunities 

Assist in writing and submitting grant applications 

Help track and report on fundraising progress 

 

Qualifications: 

Strong writing and research skills 

Interest in nonprofit fundraising 

Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or development (preferred but not required) 

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
