Grant Writer – Non Profit Jobs in Remote at Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Position Overview:
SHP is looking for an experienced Grant Writer to research, write, and manage grant applications at both the national and local levels. This individual will work closely with our Chapter Support Center (CSC) and provide guidance to local chapters on identifying and applying for grant opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with experience in nonprofit fundraising and a passion for making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant opportunities that align with SHP’s mission.
Write compelling grant proposals and reports for corporate, foundation, and government funding.
Collaborate with the CSC and chapters to collect necessary data and program details.
Develop templates and best practices to assist local chapters in their grant writing efforts.
Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and track application statuses.
Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience writing successful grant proposals, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.
Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
Ability to manage multiple grant applications and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with grant databases, CRM tools, or donor management systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,940.00 – $80,000.00 per year
