Contribute to Western University’s fundraising goals as a Grant Research Specialist. This full-time temporary position allows you to utilize your analytical skills for enhancing donor engagement through thorough research.
As a Prospect Research Officer, you will evaluate various individual, corporate, and foundation prospects. Your expertise will enable Development personnel to hone in on the most promising donor relationships, advancing our fundraising capabilities. You’ll manage and analyze diverse data to support the Prospect Management team’s efforts in fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze donor prospects rigorously to support fundraising efforts
• Transform data into actionable insights for the team
• Prepare targeted research reports for Development initiatives
• Ensure biographical data is accurate in prospect databases
• Collaborate with team members to strengthen fundraising approaches
Requirements:
• University degree;
Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year in research or fundraising roles
• Understanding of privacy and ethical guidelines
• Proficiency in using tools like Charity CAN for prospect research
• Strong communication and adept data management skills
