If you’re great at connecting with people and want those conversations to support something meaningful, Commonwealth Partners is hiring a full-time Fundraising Representative in Nashville. You’ll represent nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations at community events and pop-up campaigns while building practical communication, fundraising, and sales experience.

As a Fundraising Representative, you’ll introduce people to nonprofit missions, share the impact behind current initiatives, and help interested supporters get involved. Every Fundraising Representative receives hands-on coaching while learning how storytelling, relationship-building, and professional sales techniques can turn a conversation into meaningful support.

Responsibilities of the Fundraising Representative

  • Engage community members at pop-up campaigns and local events through approachable sales and fundraising conversations.
  • Share nonprofit missions, programs, and current initiatives in a way that feels genuine and easy to understand.
  • Learn what resonates with each person and adapt your sales approach to create stronger connections.
  • Explain fundraising opportunities and show potential supporters how their contributions can help advance nonprofit programs.
  • Answer questions with confidence while helping interested individuals make informed decisions about getting involved.
  • Turn community interest into measurable fundraising and sales results while maintaining a positive supporter experience.
  • Track outreach activity and sales performance to help the team understand campaign progress.
  • Collaborate with teammates to strengthen fundraising strategies and support daily sales goals.
  • Continue developing as a Fundraising Representative through coaching in communication, storytelling, and professional sales techniques.

Qualifications of the Fundraising Representative

  • Confident communicator who enjoys meeting and connecting with new people.
  • Interested in nonprofit work, fundraising, community outreach, events, or sales.
  • Customer service, hospitality, volunteer work, events, promotions, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
  • Positive, dependable, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to communicate with different personalities.
  • Comfortable working at outdoor pop-ups and community locations throughout the Nashville area.
  • Motivated to grow professionally as a Fundraising Representative while gaining hands-on fundraising experience.
